The large sandbeach of De Panne remains, of course, the highlight of locality.

Once you've finished the walk on the magnificent sea promenade, there are four nature reserves we gladly recommend you. One third of all dunes on the Belgian coast are situated in the vicintiy of De Panne. Picture of the westhoek dunes, the Oosthoek dunes, the Cabour dunes and the Houtsaeger dunes are presented here. After walking at the seaside you always can visit the famous Dumont quarter. Most of the houses are in Art Deco or interbellum style. Don't forget to visit the site of mister Decoussemaker for more information about the neighbourhood. The reception of the Hotel des Princes can give you full information about the beach, coast and the northsea area.
